Welcome Butterbiggins Medical Centre
With patient’s needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.
We will be sending text appointment reminders to patients. If you have supplied your mobile telephone number, we will assume you agree to receiving texts from us. If, this is not the case, please inform a member of Reception. Please ensure we have your up to date mobile telephone number.
The practice will be closed on Monday, 26th September for the September public holiday. Should you require urgent medical advice/attention during this closure, please contact NHS 24 on telephone number 111.
Get Well, Keep Well
Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.
'Flu vaccinations are still being offered - if you are over 65 or fall within an at risk group (please check with Reception if you are unsure), please make an appointment with our practice nurse to have this done. If you do not wish to have the vaccination, please let us know. Thank you.
Please ask for a Travel Form, should you wish to obtain travel vaccinations. We require 4 weeks' notice for travel vaccination provision and charges apply for this service.
Please help us to help you!
We have noticed a marked increase in patients failing to attend appointments or attending late for appointments. This is a waste of practice resources. An appointment you no longer need could be used by another patient who does need to be seen. If you no longer wish to keep an appointment, please cancel with as much notice as possible. We would appreciate your co-operation with this.
