Welcome Butterbiggins Medical Centre

With patient’s needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

Travel Vaccinations

Please note: it takes 6 weeks to obtain travel vaccinations from the Practice.  If you wish to do so, please complete a Travel Health - Pre Travel Clinic Record Form (available on this website) and hand it in to the surgery - please do not submit it via the website as it can get lost.  If you submit a travel form, please contact the surgery a week later to ask if there are any travel prescriptions for you to collect prior to making an appointment to have the vaccines administered. Thank you.

The practice will be closed on 25 & 26 December 2018 and 1st and 2nd January 2019.  Please ensure you have enough medication to cover the closure period.  Should you require urgent medical attention when the practice is closed, please telephone 111.

Flu Clinics

Flu Clinics will be held every Monday PM in October 2018.  Please make an appointment if you are over 65 or under 65 and in an at risk group (if unsure if you qualify, please check with a staff member).

Please help us to help you!

We have noticed a marked increase in patients failing to attend appointments or attending late for appointments. This is a waste of practice resources.  An appointment you no longer need could be used by another patient who does need to be seen.  If you no longer wish to keep an appointment, please cancel with as much notice as possible.  We would appreciate your co-operation with this.
